Welcome to PlanPal! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlanPal mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by PlanPal ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use PlanPal. By signing up, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will promptly terminate their account and delete their data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date. Each person may only maintain one account. You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.
You agree to use PlanPal only for its intended purpose: coordinating social plans with friends. You may not:
You retain ownership of content you create on PlanPal (event titles, messages, profile information, photos). By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service (for example, showing your event to your friends or delivering your chat messages). You are solely responsible for any content you post and represent that you have the right to share it.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
The PlanPal name, logo, design, and all related trademarks, service marks, and content (excluding user-generated content) are our property or the property of our licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written permission.
PlanPal integrates with third-party services including Apple Sign In, Firebase (Google), and Apple Push Notification service. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.
You may delete your account at any time through the app's profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise inappropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanPal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlanPal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than through class action lawsuits, except where prohibited by law. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlanPal regarding your use of the Service.
